Vocal ensemble consisting of 9 classically trained young women aged 23-25. We have a desire to challenge the traditional expectations of what choir singing is, which we try to reflect with our versatile projects.

UngKlang took to the summer festivals in an effort to break the expectations of a traditional classical choir concert. The concerts were characterised by sound universes that juxtapose the beautiful and the raw in a field of tension that embraces female power.

In honour of Women's Day, UngKlang invited to an evening where women's voices were celebrated. In addition to their own songs, UngKlang had 3 female artists, Bette, Ilma and Pil on stage. Both concerts in Copenhagen and Aarhus were sold out.

Sold-out Christmas concerts in Denmark, featuring the world premiere of Martha Bach Gislinge's work "Peters Jul" written for and recorded by UngKlang.

UngKlang was on the poster as a musical feature at Kulturmødet Mors. In 2 days, UngKlang had 5 performances, including a completely full Nykøbing Mors Church.
July 2024
UngKlang competed in two categories at the World Choir Games in Auckland NZ, returning home with 2 gold medals, a trophy and the competition's highest score of 96.25 out of 100 points.

Based on human mental health, UngKlang put together a repertoire that bridged tradition and innovation. The stage was atmospherically lit by lighting designer Ida Herring. The concert has toured all over the country.

UngKlang starred in the theatre production Pigedyr at Sort Hvid Teater in the autumn of 2023. UngKlang was joined on stage by actress Laura Skjoldborg.
